So I had an exciting night last night with my knitter friends from Guelph. I did not manage to actually do any knitting but the adult company was definitely appreciated. It's nice to be reminded that there are other people out there who all have their own stories. My favorite thing about the knitting group it the sheer age range of those involved and how a simple craft can bring together so many different people.

Sharmy, my knitting friend, and my daughter Violet! |
Today I go for orientation at my new job. It's only 2 days a week but I'm still a little nervous on how that will work for my art blogging and being with my daughter. I'm working on a whole bunch of stuff and hopefully will have some of it up in the next few days. YAY! Here's hoping for a creative weekend!!!

They both look so unsure. Very cute. How did you get them to wear the same expressions?

@onangelwings: She always seems to looked shocked when Mommy has the Camera, and Tank (my dog) know's he's not supposed to lay near the baby so he always looks like he's in trouble when I do these kind of pictures LOL.
